to travel where I wanna go

Meet the folks I wanna meet
working to live what I wanna live
I'm off to India in a month
People have been telling me all kinds of stories 
About this mind boggling country 
Sayin' how life and the people there make you look at
the things you know 
the things you see 
from a completely different point of view

The occidental versus the oriental
 
I really don't know what to expect 
Except to accept 
new ideas sink into my fantasy
Transformin my fancy
of bad positive sides or
good negative turns
of hazard

How many of us forgot the clouds and got stuck in the mud
Cuz Getting stuck is getting so much easier

Technology has it all
worked out no need to work out

Come on Take take
the drugs
the consumption pills
To Consume whatever can mutate
your needs into desires and desires into needs

Progress is awesome surely
But hell we've got a brain
Why don't we use it to remember the purpose of even the tiniest actions we accomplish?

How am I supposed to feel
Where am I supposed to look

Shit man sometimes I'd like to just grab a stranger to share my elation
Either that or turn the off switch of my brain on
but Fortunately I manage to avoid OBLIVION
by finding answers in books
always mindful of facts & OPINIONS
Fully aware something's wrong and yet no idea of how to repair
The broken cracks of society's cosmos
